K49

K49 is 100% hand-made, hand-moulded and very hard-fired, with four equally usable sides and a rough, varied surface. Each brick bears the thumbprints of the craftsperson who made it. K49 has a varied play of colour in dark and light brown and some very dark areas. The golden and green aggregate is due to the light brown slurry added to the wet clay in the wooden mould. A small number of the bricks have sand aggregate on the surface.
